Cardinal Scola has shut down his Twitter account (@angeloscola) for the duration of the conclave, but is said to restart it afterwards (unless he is elected Pope, of course…).

You can add the Cardinal from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His account is @CardenalLopez.

    Father,

Would it not be best for all the elector cardinals and others just to hold their tongues and thereby avoid accusations of touting for votes.

Fr Roderick… I thought perhaps you might have created this as a Public Twitter list. Not seeing one on your profile, I created one. Let us know if anyone needs to be added or modified.

Unfortunately, the Twitter account for Cardinal Tagle turned out to be fake, so I removed it from the list.

@OMOS OFS, there *is* a public Twitter list that was compiled by Fr. James Bradley. You might want to have a look at this link: http://twitter.com/frjamesbradley/cardinals

[...] Father Roderick has helpfully come up with a list of the cardinals that are on Twitter (to the best of his knowledge), and others have helped by sharing the names and Twitter handles of others. The accounts will be quietest at just the moment we want them to be used the most, but I think each person who follows one of the cardinals listed below on Twitter, the more likely they are to understand the value of having an immediate way of communicating with people — albeit in 140 characters or fewer.
