Star Wars VII has a new script writer. What are the consequences?

Star Wars Episode VII scriptwriter Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine) has been replaced by veteran Star Wars scriptwriter Lawrence Kasdan. According to some rumors, he and J.J. Abrams are starting from scratch to write a new script. What are the implications for the production of the movie and its release date? And what do they need to do to make Star Wars great again? I talk about it with Dom Bettinelli in a new episode of Secrets of Star Wars. Click on the player to listen and go here for more episodes: http://starwars.sqpn.com

We all hate midichlorians, right? I think Abrams and Kasdan can fix them. Here’s how: midichlorians don’t _cause_ the Force; they’re attracted to it. Just like white blood cells don’t cause disease, but you can measure how sick someone is by measuring their white blood cell count. If you have a high midichlorian count, it just means the Force is strong in you.

SW-VII could drop a line about that without contradicting anything in Eps I-VI. How do we get this thought into Abrams’ head?

Thanks Father. I love all your shows.
