Who we share your data with
Google can share information they collect with other parties when ordered to do so by law or when third parties work for Google. We have no control over this. We don’t allow Google to use the information for other services than their Analytics service. You have to enable cookies on our site to be able to watch embedded videos.
The information collected by Google is anonymous, and your IP address won’t be shared. The collected information is stored on servers maintained by Google in the United States of America. Google is complying with the EU-US Privacy Shield principles. More information about Google’s use of cookies can be found on their website.
PayPal
It’s also possible to donate using the PayPal button. In that case, no data will be stored in our database. You will be transferred to PayPal directly via a secure connection. PayPal will process your payment for us at their site. We can see the amount you’ve donated, your name and transaction ID in our PayPal account. We use this information for our financial administration. Read PayPal’s privacy statement.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you email us, your email may be processed by Google. We have set G Suites for Non-Profits at our end to delete any data older than 18 months.
If you make a donation, the amount and the account information used for your donation will be processed in our financial records. Dutch law requires us to keep our financial records for seven years.
What rights you have over your data
Under EU law, any data that can be used to identify people is considered personal data. It doesn’t matter whether you are an EU citizen or not. You own all data that is collected about you within the European Union. You have the legal right to inspect any stored data concerning your person, the right to demand correction or deletion, and the right to withdraw your consent for their further use.
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
The Dutch version of GDPR, the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming, prevents us from sharing personal data with anyone but the owner of that data. Therefore, we require proper identification before sharing personal data requested by you.

Data Breaches
We realise that everything that is accessible on-line can be accessed unauthorised. This is one of the main reasons why we try to limit the amount of personal data stored on-line as much as we can and use trusted cloud storage that complies with GDPR when we need to. If your data gets compromised, we will notify you immediately via this website and email those affected by the breach as soon as we can.

Met wie we je data delen
De informatie die Google verzamelt wordt zo veel mogelijk geanonimiseerd. Je IP-adres wordt nadrukkelijk niet meegegeven. De informatie kan worden overgebracht naar en door Google opgeslagen op servers in de Verenigde Staten.
Google kan deze informatie aan derden verschaffen indien Google hiertoe wettelijk wordt verplicht, of voor zover derden de informatie namens Google verwerken. Wij hebben hier geen invloed op. Wij hebben Google niet toegestaan de verkregen analytics informatie te gebruiken voor andere Google diensten. Google stelt zich te houden aan de principes van de EU-US Privacy Shield. Dit houdt in dat er sprake is van een passend beschermingsniveau voor de verwerking van eventuele persoonsgegevens.
PayPal
Maak je gebruik van PayPal, dan slaan we op onze site geen gegevens op, je wordt direct doorgeleid via een beveiligde verbinding naar PayPal. In ons dashboard in PayPal zien we hetzelfde soort informatie dat we bij iDEAL ook zien: betalings-ID, transactie ID en je e-mailadres. Je kunt het privacybeleid van PayPal vinden op hun website.
Hoe lang we jouw gegevens bewaren
Als je ons e-mailt, dan worden je gegevens verwerkt door Google. We hebben aan onze kant G Suites for Non-Profits zo ingesteld dat alle gegevens na 18 maanden automatisch worden verwijderd, met uitzondering van gegevens die we wettelijk langer moeten bewaren.
Als je doneert aan Stichting Trideo, dan worden alle relevante donatiegegevens in onze financiële administratie bewaard gedurende zeven jaar. Dit is de wettelijke bewaartermijn opgelegd door de Belastingdienst.
Welke rechten jij hebt over jouw gegevens
In het Europese recht is elk stukje data dat kan worden gebruikt om iemand te identificeren persoonlijke data. Jij bent de eigenaar van alle data die over jou verzameld wordt binnen de Europese Unie. Het maakt daarbij niet uit of je burger bent van een EU lidstaat of niet. Je hebt het recht om jouw data te inspecteren, het recht om te verzoeken om wijziging of verwijdering en het recht om op elk willekeurig moment je toestemming voor datagebruik in te trekken.
Je kunt vragen om verwijdering van data, voor zover we niet verplicht zijn om deze data te bewaren voor administratieve, wettelijke of veiligheidsdoeleinden.
De Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) verbiedt het delen van persoonsgegevens met derden zonder uitdrukkelijke toestemming van de eigenaar. Daarom vragen we je om je adequaat te identificeren als je van je recht op inzage gebruik maakt.
Waar we jouw gegevens naartoe sturen
Reacties van bezoekers worden gecontroleerd door een automatische spamdetectieservice. Je surfgedrag wordt naar Google gestuurd via onze Analytics trackers.

Datalekken
We realiseren ons dat alles wat via het internet toegankelijk is veiligheidslekken kan bevatten. Dit is een van de belangrijkste redenen waarom we persoonsgegevens waar we kunnen afschermen van het internet. In het geval van een datalek brengen we jou onmiddellijk op de hoogte stellen via de website en via e-mail. Ook wordt volgens de voorschriften de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens op de hoogte gesteld van datalekken.
